The delay has been interpreted 🗝 as a sign of discontent among parliamentarians regarding the episode of Brazão's arrest, in which the deputy and his brother 🗝 were handcuffed upon arrival in Brasília.

Parliamentarians have been voicing their concern over the STF's recent actions, which they see as 🗝 an overreach of the Court's authority. They argue that the STF is exceeding its powers by ruling on cases that 🗝 should be decided by the Legislative branch.
